The whole market is under these cool canopy of trees.

The girls (Left to Right) Lebo, Ncozi, and Mpumi
Lebo about had a panic attack on us when we first got there because as she looked around she noticed that the three of them were nearly the only black people there. This was something that had not even crossed our minds when we visited previously….note to self don’t bring black girls to a seemingly white person function unless they’ve been forewarned…whoops. Live and learn.
Non-the-less we all had a lovely time. We had a leisure breakfast and bought some goodies from the homemade goods, organic grown vegetables, and crafts that are sold.

We enjoyed our breakfast by eating on these neat stump table and chairs.

The biltong we’ve been telling you about.

To-die-for homemade fudge.

An Afrikaans dessert that is close to our doughnut. You hand make the dough, cook it in syrup, and then roll it in coconut. Pauline made some for a party we had with the students and I have to say it is very tasty.

I thought this chair was so cute.
