Poetry

Pic 12  Another Bathobile poem.

Hope

Up from my past that is rooted in pain
Out from my history that is full of shame
Where my soul surrender in fear
Where loneliness rule and peace I could not find
Hope still gleams when I uttered a cry of despair.

Hope with feathers that perches in the soul
Hope a feeling of desire for something and
Confidence in the possibility of its fulfilments
Hope sings the tune without the words and never stops at all
Hope that keep so many warm and God answers when we call
Hope that builds faith and tear down a wall
Hope that cast desperation and God catches us when we fall

You can shoot me with your bitter words
You can kill me with your twisted lies
You can cast me with your hatefulness
With hope I leave behind all that is holding me back
Hope fills my heart with pleasure, so I could live.

For the one I serve is the giver of hope to the hopeless,
No one whose hope is in Him will be put to shame,
And His eyes are on those who fear Him,
On those whose hope is in His unfailing Love,
We wait in hope for the lord,
He is our shield,
In Him our hearts delights
